If you enter the Quote detail screen in Edit state (directly or via the actions menu) you will still see the same details as in View state, but you are now able to edit most of them.

At the top, you are able to edit the following:

  • Notes: Here you can enter a note that you want to mention on the quote form
  • Customer: Select to which contactperson you want to email the quote PDF
  • Quote currency: select the currency for your selling price toward the customer
  • volume: enter the volume/weight that you base your pricing upon

At the pricing table, you are able to edit the following:

On any line you can enter the Service provider, Estimated cost (with the cost currency), Markup, VAT% and Selling price (incl VAT).

Remember that there is a tree-structure in place where the Lumpsum line will overrule all service groups/services underneath IF cost/sell price is entered. Same for the Service Group overruling all underlying individual services IF the cost/sell price is entered.

Other than that you will have the following options via the context menu's:

  • Lumpsum line:
    • Edit Title: the title will by default be the quote reference number, but you can change this to -for example- Door to door moving service
    • Edit description: Leave a sub-text to further elaborate your title
  • Service Group lines:
    • Edit description: Leave a sub-text to further elaborate your title
  •    Service Group lines:
    • Edit description: Leave a sub-text to further elaborate your title
    • Exclude service: Will remove the service from the pricing list and add it to the excluded services
    • Remove service: Will remove the service from the quote altogether

At the excluded services you are able to:

  • Add excluded service:
    • Add services to the excluded list: if they are not in there yet. Select one or more from the list in the pop-up.
    • Add a custom exclusion: click Add custom exclusion and this will allow you to add a service that you want to mention as excluded in your quote, but is not represented in your Reedge system as a service. Example: Port tax Brazil.

PS: The Exclusions are categorized by Service Group and the pop-up will only show the "Allowed services" for the group you are editing, meaning that for example Air Freight cannot be selected as an exclusion in the Origin / Sea Service group.

  • Context menu of excluded Service:
    • Edit description: Leave a sub-text to further elaborate on the service.
    • Include service: Will remove the service from the excluded list and add it to the pricing list.
    • Remove: Will remove the service from the quote altogether

At the bottom you are able to ignore all changes and go back by clicking the 'cancel'-button.

Or you can save the changes and go back by clicking the Save changes-button.
